My name is Erika Steele and I live in Indialantic, Florida. I am 33 years old & I am originally from Westerville, Ohio. I have been in Florida for over 13 years and I would definitely call myself a local. I have been silversmithing for 6 years and my love for this trade grows more and more everyday. I got into silversmithing around a time where I was struggling to express myself and found jewelry as an outlet. After about a year or so into making jewelry I found myself interested in learning the trade of silversmithing. I took 3 classes on the basics of silversmithing and eventually taught myself how to further my craft with a whole lot of trial and error. My favorite stones to work with are turquoise and opals. My side hustle is volunteering for the local Fleagad Market in the EGAD area. I love camping, gardening, spending time with family and my pets, connecting with others over topics like art, astrology, nature, music, life of the one-woman-show, plants, animals, and my love for all things handmade!
